Hey guys (or the few people who post on here). Lol. I notice a ton of ppl read the posts but they don't post themselves or simply register in the forums.

How can we get the forums to be more active??

I'd appreciate ANY feedback/

Like should we have a contest in the forums?... I tired that with the Fan of the Month, but we've only gotten 2 nominations. =[

Maybe a writing contest or something... idk.

Maybe the interact section could move over to the forums?

I don't know. The forum is set up really nicely. I think the main problem is that there just aren't enough people here, and I don't know how to fix that. I'm guessing that if you tried to make more contests and things, it wouldn't make any difference unless lots of people visited the forum to see them. My assumption is partly based on the number of people who have nominated themselves for fan of the month. So I think the main thing would be to get more people to see the forums, maybe by advertizing in different places.

I have something really cool planned (a project). It'll most likely be laid all out tomorrow. It'll take place in the forums. =D

I like the idea with the writing contest. That would be great. What do you think about a winner every month like FOTM? I really like the idea!

The competitors has to write something in the forum and I think the contributions go to a higher level.

On 25th August 2008 JWO.com is online for one year. Are you planning something, Becky? I think thats an important date and that has to celebrate. You must be very proud of yourself. Thats a great achievement (I mean 77900 hits and so many awards. Thats amazing :shock:

I think a good idea could be to show how the site has developed in the last year. Maybe you make a gallery with the older layouts or you show new features that has been developed by you on this site through this year.
I hope it'll help a bit.
If I have another idea I will let you know. I will do some brainstorming this week. See ya.
