I recently got my best friend Becca addicted to Lifehouse and she said they have made her a happier person and closer to God. =D I just think that's awesome, and I love welcoming new fans! So, don't think that you have to have followed them since they came to be. I've only been a fan since 2005, so don't feel left out. =D

I've only been a fan since August, and look at me now - I'm in the facebook group "You know you have Lifehouse obsessive-compulsive disorder when..." and many of the things are true about me.

I actually bought No Name Face in 2001, and I liked it, but I wasn't crazy about it. After Stanley Climbfall came out, I sort of forgot about Lifehouse for a while until I heard First Time on the radio. I didn't recognize the voice, but I knew I liked the song, so I looked it up on YouTube and I was like, oh, yeah - Lifehouse still exists. Then I listened to a bunch of their self-titled album songs and I fell in love with them.

Ohh, that's different. =] I bought their self-titled album right when it came out bc I LOVED "you and me". then after i grew out of that after a few months, i forgot about them until i heard that they were going to have a new album. so i bought "who we are" and "no name face" both a t the same time, then i had to find "stanley climbfall" at this run-down music store a while ago. it's kindof hard to find that in a lot of places =][/b]

My sister bought Lifehouse's self-titled album in April of 2005, and I just fell in love with it. I actually listened to it so much that she got sick of it! Whoops! Then she found "Stanley Climbfall" at a used bookstore, but I didn't listen to that one as much. I got really excited when I found out they were going to release a new album, and bought "Who We Are" as soon as it came out, and I got "No Name Face" for my birthday this year.

Oh man, Jason and I go WAAYY back, lol! I started liking them when HBAM became popular. Haha, I was like 16 (I'm now going on 24). I got the CD and my cousin & I listened to it literally 100 times that night. Its been love love love ever since! Except I think there was a lul in my fanship between NNF and the self-titled album. Don't remember what prompted me to buy the self-titled. I bought SCF very shortly after that.
I only saw them live for the first time last year when they toured with Goo Goo Dolls! It SUCKS to be such a huge fan of someone and they NEVER come to your town, let alone your state! Seeing Jason live that day was, well I'm sure you all know  . In the past year, I've become much more devoted to their music - hence the forum membership. Glad to be in such good company :D

Yeah Lifehouse Concerts

Postby sylviagrace on Tue Mar 11, 2008 5:01 am

It's true about seeing Lifehouse in concert. It really makes an impression. I remember that after my first Lifehouse concert I was hooked for sure. And I remember before the concert, I was wondering whether I would like it or not. I hadn't enjoyed a rock concert before. I was in Sayreville, NJ, standing outside the Starland Ballroom thinking, "I hope it's worth the money." Then I heard the sound check from outside the walls. It was muffled, but I could tell they were playing "Simon," and I was like, wow - that's really lifehouse, and I can hear them for the first time in my vicinity. And I got excited, even though I was outside of the building. Then when I was inside, I was worried that I wouldn't enjoy the show because I had to stand for so long, and my knees started hurting after the second band. But after Lifehouse came out I forgot all about it. It completely blew me away - I had never known such excitement before.

Awesome. I wish I'd been a fan back when "No Name Face" came out, but I was like seven then.

I used to be totally obsessed with the Goo Goo Dolls when I was 14. I thought I got over that band-obsessive phase of my life for good, but no.
