Hey, I really love this site, and I noticed that you've been experimenting with different layouts. It currently has a black background with white and red text, which I find a little hard to look at. I liked the other layouts better, especially the one with the beige wood-grain pattern. (I don't remember exactly what it was.) Maybe it's just me. What do others think?

This is the 2nd 'complaint' I've gotten about the new layout. I didn't make the layout with "wood-grain" texture - I ordered it from someone else, and I didn't like how it had two columns. It was also not the best quality, but I understand what you're saying about the colors being bright. It really just depends on two things: your screen resolution (colors, size of your desktop) and the browser you're using. My site always looks better when viewed in Mozilla Firefox, so I always tell people they'll get a better 'viewing experience' if they use that instead of Internet Explorer.

Design wise, this is the best layout I have ever made... truly. And I've been designing for over 5 years. I love it, and it's hopefully going to stay up for a while unless I somehow make something better in the future... which is very likely b/c this is what I do. Lol.

But, I totally understand different opinions. I just wanted to put my opinion out there. Do you think if I just did something small to the layout, like change the font color to white, that it would be better, because I could definitely try that. =D

There will be a new layout on the main site & in the gallery within the week that I've ordered from someone. =] I'm going to try to make the colors and everything good for every browser. =]

I actually dig this layout, but I'm on IE7. I appreciate your sensitivity to others though

How come I still see the old black & red layout?

I really like the blue/green layout you have up right now, Becky. I love the picture of the guys at the top! I think it's cool that they included Sean Woolstenhulme in a lot of photoshoots in 2002 and 2003, even though he didn't play on the album.
