1. I would probably choose "All in All." I think most people can relate to the lyrics, so people would connect to it and be filled with a sense of hope everytime they hear it. I would like hearing it on the radio because it also has that uplifting sound to it that just makes you feel good. And what a good video it would make. :)

2. Gosh, that's hard. "Simon" means a lot to me because it's the first Lifehouse song that made me cry. It made me realize how different Lifehouse is from other bands. Everytime I hear the song, I remember why I fell in love with them and Jason's songwriting. It's just amazing to me how emotions like that can be expressed so beautifully in a song. I listen to "Simon" whenever I'm feeling down. Also, hearing the song live and the way Jason sings it with such emotion gave me one more reason to hold it so special.

3. Totally not a fair question! I like them all. But since I am forced to choose one, I will say "Lifehouse as Carnival Workers." I laugh at that one every time! It just shows that fame doesn't get to them and underneath all that talent, they are normal guys who like to do (kinda) "normal", haha, things, it would be a blast to hang out with them! Even when they're just chillin' they are hilarious. It just makes me appreciate them and love them more that they let their fans see them "behind the scenes" and show us the awesome, cool, funny people that they are! But I can say that about all their blogs. I love those guys! They make my day.

4. Wow. I'm not really the creative type. Well, I'd make a video for "Today." I imagine it starting with Jason trying to write a song, strumming his guitar, but he has writer's block and drifts off into sleep. Then he starts dreaming and the intro to the song starts. He gets off the tour bus and gets taken away by "the crooked Lifehouse gang" (Bryce and Rick w/leather jackets on motorcycles) like in the "hawaii 3" blog. 8) He manages to escape and the rest of the video is James Bond-y, with Jason doing crazy stunts like skydiving, hand gliding, snowboarding, etc. to try to escape the gang while at the same time experiencing thrills. "not gonna wait for tomorrow, I'm livin' today." :) I was thinking Bryce and Rick could show up in random places playing their instruments. For instance, while Jason glides through the sky, Bryce and Ricky could be rocking out in a hot air balloon or at the top of the Eiffel tower or Mt. Rushmore. At the end when the music ends, Jason could wake up and say, "guys, I had the wierdest dream!" When he turns around and opens his eyes fully, he notices they have the leather shirts with their "gang" name and the video ends. Yeah, not sure why I imagine this kind of vid. I guess I have a wierd imagination. haha. But I always thought the guys would make good, funny actors.

5. Because I looove Lifehouse! It would be another way to demonstrate my immense admiration for them and their music. And it would be cool to win FOTM on here since I love the site. It would make me really happy!

:D

001. If you could choose one song off of the self-titled Lifehouse album to be a single right now, which song would you choose and why?
It would have to be Come Back Down. It's actually the one of the first songs off the album that I heard and I just fell in love with it. It reminds me of my cousin who died a while back, especially the line: "Carrying the ones you lost, a picture frame with all the thoughts, I know you hold inside."

002. Which Lifehouse song means the most to you and why?
It would have to be Simon. I remember first getting the record and Simon just stood out to me. Over the years it has helped me through alot of pain and there are moments when I hear it, I can't stop myself from crying. Those first chords just get to me. Broken does the same.

003. Which of Lifehouse's video-blogs (ie. Blair Witch Project, New York, Koreatown, etc.) do you enjoy watching the most and why? =P

I would have to say Koreatown, just because it's funny to watch Bryce and Rick learning about the Korean lifestyle and not to mention them singing keroke. lol

004. If you could make a music video (or come up with an idea for one) for any Lifehouse song (including Blyss, b-sides, etc.) what would happen in it, why, and any other creative touches.

There are so many songs, but I would have to say Come Back Down. The video would be set at a concert and Lifehouse would singing. In the audience there would be one person standing alone that Jason would notice. As the song is playing, the person in the audience would be remebering a loved one that she has lost, she holds their picture in her hand. Jason continues to sing and can't take his eyes off the girl. She looks so sad. When the concert is over, Jason goes to look for the girl, but can't find her anywhere. He asks Bryce and Rick if they had seen the girl and describes what she looks like. They tell her they didn't notice anyone fitting that discription. Jason shakes it from his head, thinking it must have been his imagination and together the band walk onto their tourbus off to the next location. Off to the distance, we see the girl again and she is still holding the photo in her hand. She smiles and we see the photo is of Jason. She touches the picture to her heart and it disappers only to reapear as a picture of herself on Jason's bunk. The last shot is of her walking down the sidewalk and vanishing into the night. Turns out she was a ghost/angel.

005. Why should you win August 2008's Fan of the Month at Jason Wade Online?:

It would mean a lot if I was picked as Fan of the Month. I have been a Lifehouse fan since their first album and just by listening to their music, they have helped me heal alot of pain. I gather insperation by listening to their music and no matter how many times I listen to their songs, I feel as if each time is just as special as the last time. I not a fan just because Jason, Bryce or Rick is cute (It's a bonus though  ) I'm a fan because their music is amazing and the lyrics that Jason writes tap into me like no other singer/songwriter/song has. If a day goes by that I haven't listened to one of their songs, you can guarentee that I'm singing it in my head.

001. If you could choose one song off of the self-titled Lifehouse album to be a single right now, which song would you choose and why?
I would choose Better Luck Next Time because I like it, I think it's catchy and I wouldn't get tired of it, but I don't love it so much that I want to keep it rare.

002. Which Lifehouse song means the most to you and why?
I would say All in All. From the first time I heard it, I loved it, and it's still my favorite song. It's probably the song that most made me love Lifehouse when I was discovering them on YouTube. And it describes the deepest loves and struggles that I have in my life.

003. Which of Lifehouse's video-blogs (ie. Blair Witch Project, New York, Koreatown, etc.) do you enjoy watching the most and why? =P
I don't know if this counts because they never posted it on MySpace, but they did put it on YouTube, so "The Rick Song." I just think it's a wonderful, spontaneous, funny piece that gives you a glimpse into the process of writing songs. And I love Jason's voice in it - it sounds different than normal. And everyone's so happy and smiling - you can tell they're having fun.

004. If you could make a music video (or come up with an idea for one) for any Lifehouse song (including Blyss, b-sides, etc.) what would happen in it, why, and any other creative touches.
Hmm. Good question. I already made a rough-edged experimental animation for Signs of Life, and I really liked the concept I used - it was a bunch of drawings of scenes with people, and the scenes would shift so that the people were glowing except for the main character, who was "lifeless." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-YC8hiva8Fs I tried to portray my own interpretation of the song, which I'm kind of confused by (hence the confusing video) but it seems to have some kind of powerful meaning. I just can't explain it because I think anything that doesn't speak for itself is something that I don't want to pin down. That's probably how Jason feels about his music, too.

005. Why should you win August 2008's Fan of the Month at Jason Wade Online?
Well, this month it's because I'm totally obsessed with Lifehouse and it's all because of Jason Wade. I made him a birthday cake and my friends and I ate it. We didn't give him any, but we would have if he had been around.
